In my childhood, I always thought of Switzerland being the only place in the World (apart from poles of course) to have 365 days snow in their mountains and people going to work and to school with their skis!
And I was wrong big time! This year seems the World is turned upside down! Since the last snow in early December we have not had a single snow flake coming down the sky. To add to the misery a nice four day shower washed away the remaining snows from the mountains! Most of the ski resorts in our area either are closed or partially open.
Is this global warming or maybe snow has gone somewhere else? Look at this two pictures I took from my weather wideget on iphone:
