Like any other person, I have a few hobbies to keep me busy in my spare time. Do I find a spare time in my super busy schedule? Well, not really but if I do find a moment of my own, I try not to waste it!
There are so many things in this World that I would love to try at least once. But these are a few things that I love most and I like to spend my time on them whenever and wherever possible:
Flying is my most favourite hobby. I have been flying as a private pilot since 1996.
I have a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) as well as USA Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
I also have some additional ratings such as Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC), Night Rating and Instrument Rating (IR).
Biking is one of my other hobbies. Riding a bike around lake Geneva or in the mountains with fresh air gives me lots of enjoyment. It is not important if the bike is a city bike or mountain bike or even electric bike, as long as I can ride on it peacefully and comfortably, I am happy to carry on. Of course it is hard these days to have full enjoyment of riding a bike in busy roads with lots of traffic but luckily here bicycle lanes are almost in every busy street which gives extra comfort and sense of safety.
Hiking is yet another fantastic activity one can do which is almost free and I promise that I do this almost everyday.
